Terms of Use

Sprout is a free Chrome extension by Prisma Labs. By installing or using Sprout you accept these terms. They are deliberately short.

What you can do

Use Sprout for any purpose, personal or commercial, on any device. No registration or account is required. The source code is published at github.com/Prisma-Labs-Dev/chrome-site-blocker and you are free to read, fork, modify, or self-host it under the terms of its repository license.

As-is, no warranty

Sprout is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Prisma Labs makes no guarantee that Sprout will block every site you want it to block, that it will continue to function across Chrome updates, or that it will remain available on the Chrome Web Store.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prisma Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, Sprout. That includes (but is not limited to) lost productivity, missed deadlines, or any consequence of a hostname being blocked or not blocked at a given moment.

Your blocklist is yours

Sprout stores your blocklist using Chrome’s built-in storage API. Prisma Labs never sees it. Uninstalling the extension removes the local copy. If you use Chrome Sync, Google’s sync infrastructure handles the cross-device copy and is governed by Google’s own terms.

Updates

Sprout receives updates through the Chrome Web Store. Updates may add features, fix bugs, or change behavior. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated extension.

Termination

You can uninstall Sprout at any time from chrome://extensions. Prisma Labs may stop maintaining or distributing Sprout at any time; if we do, we will note it on this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by writing to contact@prismalabs.dev first will be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam.
